In an unexpected turn of events, the Winnipeg Jets find themselves facing another temporary absence of their head coach, Rick Bowness.

The organization took to Twitter moments ago to announce that Bowness will be sidelined for the foreseeable future due to a recent "minor medical procedure." This marks the second time this season that the Jets will be without Bowness's leadership behind the bench.
