The game between the Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars on Wednesday night turned out to be a tough one for defenseman Alex Pietrangelo, who made a costly mistake.

Pietrangelo's two-minute minor for roughing on Tyler Seguin in the second period led to a powerplay goal by Jason Robertson, ultimately securing the win for Dallas and giving them a 3-2 series lead.
After the game, Vegas Golden Knights head coach Bruce Cassidy expressed his frustration, specifically calling out Pietrangelo's error.
"Veteran guy should know better," Cassidy said.
He went on to add, "There's controlled aggression out there all over the ice in every series. ... There's a little bit of a learning curve that goes into it," the bench boss explained. "We should know better, but it happens. ... Margins are too thin."
"We have to take care of our discipline. We just have to. It's that simple."
With this loss, the defending Stanley Cup champions are on the brink of playoff elimination in the first round. They'll aim to even the series on Friday night at T-Mobile Arena.
However, despite the home advantage, Vegas hasn't had success against Dallas on their home ice so far in the playoffs.
