Utah Hockey Club unveils its inaugural jerseys

Utah has never been tried in terms of NHL markets, and while it has supported an NBA team for decades, a hockey team might be a stretch. However, the NHL is banking on this working. If it doesn't, then the team could find itself in the exact same position the Arizona Coyotes were in, that forced this relocation, in the first place.

When it comes to branding, the team has some work to do. They are still deciding on an official name and for now, are just being called the Utah Hockey Club. Or Utah HC, for short. Recently, the franchise showed off its new ice design, which is looking incredibly sharp.

As you can see, center ice has the team's new jersey patch design. It is in the shape of the state, which is something similar to the Dallas Stars design. Meanwhile, the light and navy blues that define the team's color scheme are present throughout.

Moreover, the team also showcased its new jerseys, which are extremely sharp. If you are someone who appreciates a good hockey jersey, then you are most certainly going to adore these.

Only time will tell whether or not this ice will be surrounded by full stands. One can just imagine the backlash there will be if opening night is only half full, or half empty, depending on how you look at things. Hopefully, the franchise is a success.
