Heading into this season, the Toronto Maple Leafs are considered to be favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference and contend for a Stanley Cup.

However, one of their biggest question marks involves their goaltending. Joseph Woll has faced some injury issues and he is still relatively unproven, especially in big moments. Meanwhile, their backup is Anthony Stolarz who hasn't exactly set the world on fire.
Well, tonight, Stolarz is going to have to answer the call. According to Luke Fox of Sportsnet, the Maple Leafs are going to be starting Stolarz as Woll is nursing an injury. Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube claims the injury is not serious. This is just a precaution. Meanwhile, Toronto Marlies goaltender Dennis Hildeby will make the trip and serve as backup.
Tonight, the Maple Leafs play against the Montreal Canadiens. Subsequently, the Leafs will go to New Jersey tomorrow night to play against the Devils. Woll has not been ruled out of the game against the Devils. Although if Stolarz has a bad outing and Woll is not ready to go, we could see Hildeby come in, who some believe is the Leafs' future.
Whatever the case may be, the Habs have just increased their chances of winning today's game. The Canadiens are a team that can score now, which makes them dangerous. However, the Leafs are a powerhouse and are destined to give them a run for their money.
