Craig Berube has been tasked with taking this Toronto Maple Leafs roster to new heights, which is not going to be easy when you consider their playoff struggles.

However, Berube is someone who has taken teams far in the past. Of course, he won a Stanley Cup as the head coach of the St. Louis Blues. It was quite the story when they won the Cup, and fans are hoping that he can mirror that success with the Leafs. The team has looked decent to start the year, although one key area is lacking right now.
That area just so happens to be the Power Play. When it comes to the Man-Advantage, the Leafs have been truly abysmal so far. They are 0-9 and many fans are wondering if there is a way for this all to be fixed. As Berube told reporters, the issue is stagnation.
«So far, it has been stagnant,» Berube said post-game. «We all know that. We were just moving some guys around tonight, trying to find a spark with something different. I thought it got better in the third. There were some opportunities, but we have to get to work on it.»

It will be interesting to see if the Maple Leafs are able to fix all of this, moving forward. This is a team that fans are expecting a lot from right now. If they can't get the power play going, then that is a huge indictment on this team's capabilities. At the end of the day, special teams play a huge role in the success of hockey teams.
