It's been an incredible journey for Jaromir Jagr who has been in the hockey spotlight and hockey world for well over 30 years. After an incredible career in the NHL and a prolonged extension in the Czech Republic as owner and player the of Klando Knights, the 52-year-old legend has announced his retirement from the game he loves.

Jagr resurfaced in the NHL this past season as he mended fences with the Pittsburgh Penguins organization to which they retired his number and gave a fantastic send off to the former Penguins superstar.
It was announced during an interview with CNN Prima news that there will be a film to capture his final season with Klando which will be his send off for his hockey career.
We have a plan with filmmaker Peter Vetrovsky to film my last season. So I will try to physically prepare for it as best as possible. But I would really like to prepare professionally for my last season."

Jagr was drafted by the Penguins in 1990, in the first-round 5th overall. His career spanned from 1990 all the way through 2018 and during that time he played 1733 games, scoring 766 goals with 1155 assists for 1921 points and was a + 322.
It remains to be seen on whether this is actually the case but at 52 years old it's likely that time has reached an end for him to play the game and move on to the next chapter in his life.
