The Maple Leafs provide good news regarding William Nylander's injury
As William Nylander has been sidelined by mysterious migraines, the Toronto Maple Leafs have been eagerly awaiting his return to the lineup, and it seems they might catch a break for Saturday's game.
Nylander's absence has been a major storyline for the Leafs this postseason, with his offensive contributions sorely missed, especially on the powerplay. The uncertainty surrounding his injury has left fans wondering when he'll be back on the ice.
However, there's finally some hope for Nylander's return, as the Leafs have been given a bit of a break. The extra days of rest could be just what he needs to make a comeback.
Coach Sheldon Keefe has emphasized their efforts to support Nylander in his recovery, and the additional day is seen as a significant advantage, as noted by Luke Fox.
«The more time, the better," coach Sheldon Keefe told reporters Thursday, as players on both sides were granted a day of rest.
"We've been working with Willy to give him the time that he needs to be ready to play."
Although there's no definite timeline for his return, the Leafs are hopeful that time will be the best healer. The extra day could make all the difference in getting Nylander back in action.
