The New York Islanders suffered their league-leading 15th overtime loss in a dramatic conclusion.

Islanders Make Heroic Comeback Only To Lose In Overtime

Down by a goal with less than a minute remaining, the Islanders mounted a late surge. Bo Horvat's powerplay goal ignited hopes of securing two crucial points.

However, Brady Tkachuk shattered those hopes with the game-winning goal in overtime. This defeat tied the Islanders with the Bruins for the most overtime losses at 15.

"We didn't do a good job in the neutral zone and put that puck deep on the first goal," said Roy before adding "bad pinch on that second goal, throw a puck in the stands on the third goal, and then on the fourth goal losing our edge in an odd man rush."
