Patrik Laine is as angry as ever in new practice footage (video)

There are some negative narratives surrounding Laine and his ability to perform at a high level. Some people believe he just isn't good enough anymore. Moreover, there are some who think he is some sort of locker-room cancer. However, there is no doubt that Laine is trying to shake himself of that stigma.

Below, you can see that Laine has been attending practices early so that he can get back into a rhythm. He is working hard out there and he is doing everything he can to show his teammates that he means serious business.

That said, there have been some growing pains here, in the footage below, you can see Laine getting angry at practice. He kept missing the net and it made him bang his stick on the glass. While some may find this immature, some reporters believe it just shows how much Laine cares about his craft.

If one thing is for certain right now, it is that Laine appears determined to show people that he can be a great goal-scorer again. He is doing all of the right things. However, there is no telling whether or not he will be able to translate this work into on ice performance. Only time will tell whether or not this all works out for him.
