Beloved NHL enforcer Donald Brashear begins new job in sales
Donald Brashear was a beloved enforcer in the NHL who was able to play over 1000 games with a plethora of teams, including the Montreal Canadiens and Washington Capitals.
Brashear had a ton of longevity despite the fact that he was a hard-hitter and frequent fighter. In fact, he played in lower leagues for years following his retirement from the NHL. Last year, Brashear played a season of LNAH hockey at the age of 51.
Now, Brashear is entering a new chapter of his professional life. He will now be working as a car salesman at a Nissan dealership in Ste. Foy Quebec. The announcement was made on the dealership's Facebook page, where they welcomed him to the team with open arms.
We are very excited to welcome Donald Brashear in to our sales team!
At Ste-Foy Nissan, we know that the strength of a team lies in perseverance, tenacity, and experience - values that Donald beautifully embodies.
After a career in the NHL, Donald brings that team spirit and drive to always go the extra mile to Ste-Foy Nissan today.
His journey is an example of resilience, and we're confident he'll accompany you with as much determination as he always has on the ice. Welcome to the team Donald!
We wish Donald Brashear the best of luck in his new job. Some fans may hate on this, but you should never hate on someone trying to support their family. His NHL career was a long time ago, and plenty of guys in his position have done something similar.
