William Nylander and Nick Robertson got tangled up a couple of nights ago when the Toronto Maple Leafs took on the Montreal Canadiens.

If you remember, Robertson gave Nylander a shove with his stick which ultimately led to Nylander falling over and getting injured as a Habs player gave him a knee to the face. Nylander was knocked out of the game completely, and fans were absolutely livid and disgusted with Robertson. Now, it is being said that Nylander is doing just fine.

Recently, Nylander got to speak to the media where he talked about the play and what went down. Essentially, he forgives Robertson but he acknowledges the move was not necessary. However, he is taking some responsibility here, claiming that he was not ready for the move in the first place and that he probably should have been.

"He called me after the game, I said I was all good, he scored. So it's all good. I just wasn't ready for it because it didn't feel like it was needed in that way, but I wasn't really ready for it, but it's okay."

This does not bode well for Robertson who could be traded for his stupidity. After all, a trade was being mulled over during the Summer. Unfortunately, for the Leafs, there was no market for Robertson. He is a talented player with some potential, but his latest move has stripped the Leafs fans of their confidence in him.

Do you believe that Nylander is angrier than he is letting on? Let us know in the poll down below and stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite players and teams.
