Patrick Kane is a legendary player who is set to make the Hall of Fame whenever he retires, although for now, he is focused on his upcoming season with the Detroit Red Wings.

On January 7th, during a game against the Ottawa Senators, Kane will be honored with his very own bobblehead night. Fans who come to the game will be able to get themselves a bobblehead modeled after the superstar forward. Unfortunately, according to leaked images of the bobblehead, it looks nothing like Kane.

In fact, according to reporter Tab Bamford, the bobblehead looks suspiciously like a reskin of the Johan Franzen bobbleheads from back in the day. The Red Wings must have had some extra stock lying around and made a few quick changes to bring it all together.

However, one interpretation here can be that bobbleheads are almost impossible to get right. By design they are meant to be a caricature and seldom do you actually see a good one. Regardless, some fans find the gesture completely meaningless. One has to wonder what Kane feels about all of this. He probably doesn't even care.

Do you believe that this bobblehead is disrespectful to Patrick Kane? Let us know in the poll down below and stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world.
