The Chicago Blackhawks play in the United Center, which is a legendary arena in that city.

However, the arena is now in what is being called "lockdown mode." According to The Hockey News, there are no nefarious reasons for this. Instead, the arena is on lockdown mode because of the Democratic National Convention which is going to run between August 19th and 22nd. It is here where Kamala Harris and Tim Walz will be officially given their respective nominations by the Democratic party.
Below, you can see a schematic of the event and some of the restricted access that those in the city will have to be subjected to. As you can imagine, this will prove to be a bit of an inconvenience for those who typically work at the arena, or have to drive by it for work.

During the DNC, you will not be able to enter the arena or go to the pro shop. Instead, you will need clearance in order to do that, and as you can imagine, that is only for employees, security, and those attending the event.
