Connor Bedard Showcases His Talent With An incredible Performance
In his debut NHL season, Chicago Blackhawks rookie Connor Bedard has lived up to the massive hype surrounding him, drawing comparisons to none other than Connor McDavid.
In the matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight, with Chicago leading 3-2, Bedard showcased his skills with a slick stick lift and a swift steal of the puck from Nikita Kucherov. The 18-year-old swiftly moved the puck to Nick Foligno, who charged into the Lightning zone. Foligno then set up Bedard, who executed a dazzling move on Jonas Johansson before slotting the puck into the net.
Bedard's incredible play resulted in his second goal of the night and third point of the period alone. Earlier, he contributed with an assist on Corey Perry's powerplay goal in the second period, bringing his season total to 11 points. With a four-point performance tonight, Bedard is set to climb into the top 5 in NHL scoring, proving he's a force to be reckoned with in the league.
