Connor Bedard left the ice after taking a shoulder to the mouth hit by Devils' Brendan Smith.
It was then announced on the Chicago Blackhawks social media page that Connor would be out for the rest of the game.
Bedard, only 18, has got to learn to keep his head up. This isn't the IIHF or the WHL anymore, where he's playing kids his age. This is the NHL, and he's playing grown men when he's really just a kid. We've seen that multiple times this year where he did have his head down, and this time it costed him. Hopefully, this can be a learning experience for him.
