Tage Thompson Has Officially Been Removed From Buffalo Sabres Active Roster
This was supposed to be the year for the Buffalo Sabres a season where they finally took a step forward. Fans were hopeful, anticipating a team that would compete for a playoff spot after enduring years of letdowns. However, the reality paints a different picture as the Sabres find themselves once again near the bottom of the Atlantic division.
Adding to their challenges, the Sabres face a setback in their playoff pursuit as they've had to take Tage Thompson off the active roster for personal reasons.
Tage Thompson has been moved to the non-roster list (personal).
Thompson sat out last night's game against the Boston Bruins, and there's uncertainty about when he'll return to the team. Our thoughts are with Thompson during this time.
