Patrice Bergeron Drops Major Hint Regarding Possible Return To The NHL
Amidst speculation, Patrice Bergeron's retirement announcement post the 2023 Stanley Cup playoffs seemed like the final chapter in his storied career.
However, recent whispers have reignited talks of a possible comeback for the beloved former Boston Bruins captain.
Adding fuel to the fire was a discussion on the Spittin Chiclets podcast with NHL veterans Ryan Whitney and Paul "Buznasty" Bissonette. Yet, hopes of Bergeron rejoining the Bruins seemed uncertain...or are they?
During a recent chat with Bruins insider Joe Haggerty, Bergeron addressed the chatter, acknowledging his ongoing passion for the game.
"I've been working out and skating with former NHL players," he shared.
While not confirming a return, Bergeron's comments have left fans pondering. With the Bruins facing struggles this month, could Bergeron's potential comeback provide the spark they need? Only time will tell.
