Florida Panthers fans troll the Bruins with brutal Jeremy Swayman chants (video)

Why wouldn't they be? After all, Swayman is a potential Vezina candidate who could help the Bruins win a Stanley Cup. Although the negotiation was almost a tragic one, it ended up with Swayman getting a $66 million deal. On Tuesday, the Bruins played their first game of the season against the defending champions, the Florida Panthers.

However, the game did not go so well for the Bruins. They started Joonas Korpisalo and los 6-4. During the game, Panthers fans decided to troll Swayman and the Bruins. As you can see down below, they came through with various chants, demanding that Swayman get put into the game.

Korpisalo was not great in the early going and it allowed the Panthers to jump out to and early lead. Overall, the Panthers were motivated to deliver a great showing. This is because the team was celebrating its Stanley Cup championship. They are trying to defend that title and it was important to be strong in the first game.

At this stage, the Panthers are looking like Cup contenders all over again. Some believe that the Bruins will contend for the Cup this year, although it remains to be seen if that will be the case. Once we see Swayman in goal, perhaps we will get a better feel for what this team can do.
