Boston Bruins Commentator Jack Edwards Officially Addresses Recent Rumours
Rumors about Jack Edwards parting ways with the Boston Bruins recently circulated, but the outspoken commentator addressed the speculation in his official statement.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Edwards clarified the situation with a post:
"Happy Holidays! Contrary to misinformation (imagine that!), I am fit & healthy. I will not be in the booth for 2 more games: the Ottawa/Philly roady in January. I look forward to calling years of Bruins games. I am enjoying a holiday week family vacation. First time in 17 years."
Edwards emphasized that he plans to stay in the booth for the foreseeable future, expressing his desire to maintain his role with the franchise for years to come.
Regardless of personal opinions about Edwards, he deserves respect as one of the greats. Wishing him an enjoyable break and a swift return to the broadcast booth.
