The Arizona Coyotes Gear Up To Participate In Auction To Secure New Arena Location
The Arizona Coyotes are aiming to secure a new permanent home by bidding on land in North Phoenix, as reported by Craig Morgan.
Their application has been accepted by the Arizona State Land Department, with an auction set to happen by mid-June at the earliest. There's speculation about the Coyotes' budget for the land and potential competition.
Winning the bid means staying at Mullett Arena until after the 2026-27 season. However, losing could prompt the NHL to consider relocating the team, with Salt Lake City, Utah, emerging as a possible new home.
