With the Arizona Coyotes now a thing of the past, fans and uniform enthusiasts have a unique opportunity to grab some of the team's official merchandise. According to Craig Morgan of PHNX Sports, the Coyotes had to buy back unsold products from the team store at Mullett Arena but instead had Goodwill stores pick up the merchandise that was in storage.
Morgan mentioned that while the Coyotes did retrieve some of the jerseys and other items from Goodwill, much of it had already been distributed to stores across the East and West Valley.
Morgan further added:
It's disappointing for fans that the Coyotes, known for having some of the best uniforms and logos in the NHL, won't be seen on the ice anytime soon. The team's departure leaves a void, especially for those who appreciated the distinctive aesthetic the Coyotes brought to the league.
With Alex Muruelo no longer in the picture in Arizona, it remains to be seen if any other prospective ownership groups will emerge to try and bring back the Coyotes as an expansion team in the future. For now, fans will have to settle for finding a piece of their beloved team at local Goodwill stores.
For those interested in scoring some official Coyotes gear, it might be worth a trip to the nearest Goodwill store in Arizona. Happy hunting, Coyotes fans!
