Elliotte Friedman drops truth bomb about Anaheim Ducks fan-favourite's future with the team

Overall, the Anaheim Ducks are a team that is in the middle of trying to rebuild their core, all while creating a contender for the future.
Unfortunately, they have not been extremely successful in this endeavor. Instead, it has been a slow burn, with players like Trevor Zegras being placed on the trading block. In the latest 32 Thoughts with Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, another Ducks star was hit with a harsh reality. This time around, it was franchise cornerstone, Cam Fowler.
Fowler has been with the Ducks franchise ever since he was drafted back in 2010. He is closing in on his 1000th NHL game, and the fans in Anaheim absolutely adore him. However, the team has brought in young stars and it is believed that Fowler's playing time will be cut significantly.
For now, Fowler has four teams that he is willing to be traded to. Having said that, he is open to expanding the list if necessary. While a trade is not a guarantee, it does appear to be a real possibility at this juncture. Only time will tell what the Ducks end up deciding here.
"I don't think anybody will be surprised if some time this season Cam Fowler is elsewhere and from what I've been told it is a positive working environment with him and the Ducks about getting this done and finding him a new place to play."
