Montreal Canadiens Acquire Buffalo Sabres Prospect In Blockbuster Trade
The Montreal Canadiens have engaged in a trade with the Buffalo Sabres, and it involves one of their prospects.
Sabres Send Prospect to Canadiens
In a recent trade, the Buffalo Sabres have transferred one of their prospects to the Montreal Canadiens.
The official announcement read,
TRADE: #GoHabsGo acquire forward Filip Cederqvist to #LetsGoBuffalo for future considerations.
The 23-year-old Cederqvist, originally drafted in the fifth round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft by the Sabres, hasn't quite met the expectations set by Buffalo.
Currently, he holds one goal and four assists in 19 games with the Rochester Americans of the AHL and is expected to join the Laval Rockets.
