The hockey community mourns the passing of 22-year old Craig Spence

The junior hockey community is mourning the loss of 22-year-old Craig Spence, a talented player for the Blenheim Blades, who tragically died in a car accident. The team shared the heartbreaking news on social media earlier today.
We regret to inform you that Craig Spence, player for the Blenheim Blades of the PJCHL, has passed away at the age of 22 after being a part of a car crash on the 401.
On behalf of the Ontario Junior Hockey League and our 24 Member Organizations we extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of former Georgetown Raider Craig Spence.
Craig Spence made a significant impact during his time with the Blades, scoring 75 points in just 36 games. He also showcased his skills in the OJHL and GOJHL, earning respect and admiration from teammates and fans alike.
Our thoughts are with Craig's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time as they deal with this profound loss.
