Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew tragically passed away a couple of weeks ago, and fans are still in mourning over it.

As you can imagine, there is a lot of interest in the first game between the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Calgary Flames. Gaudreau played for both of these teams and there is more than likely going to be some sort of ceremony in celebration of the superstar. However, it seems like the average fan simply won't be able to enjoy it in person.
In a Twitter post, it was revealed that tickets for the game are going for some insane amounts online. Essentially, you will have to shell out upwards of $170 USD if you want to see the game from the nosebleeds. This is all thanks to scalpers who are exploiting the shady practices of Ticketmaster, who is known for jacking up prices.
For many, the act of scalping tickets for such a massive event is completely and utterly immoral. Unfortunately, it has become all too common. When Kobe Bryant passed away a few years ago, the exact same thing happened. It is disgusting, and it is making it harder for the real fans to attend the games. Even beyond the Gaudreau situation, this is becoming a real problem.
Do you believe reselling these tickets is an immoral act? Let us know in the poll down below and stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world.
