Connor Bedard lands a massive sponsorship deal
Connor Bedard Lands Major Sponsorship Deal with Gatorade
It's been an eventful year for Chicago Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard since he was selected first overall in the NHL Entry Draft last year. The North Vancouver native has achieved significant milestones, including completing his first NHL season and securing numerous sponsorship deals. Most recently, Bedard signed a new sponsorship agreement with one of the world's leading sports drink brands, Gatorade.
In a press release last week, Bedard expressed his gratitude for joining the Gatorade family, a brand known for supporting elite athletes such as Sidney Crosby, Marie-Philip Poulin, and Hayley Wickenheiser.
"I'm proud to join the Gatorade family and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of a team that helps fuel some of the best athletes in the world," Bedard said. "Like so many kids who grew up playing hockey, Gatorade has been a part of my journey from day one. Gatorade is committed to excellence and is passionate about sports at all levels I am really looking forward to working together."
This partnership with Gatorade adds to Bedard's impressive list of sponsorships acquired over the past 12 months, including deals with Hyundai, CIBC, Lululemon, BioSteel, and Sherwood.
As Bedard enters his second season in the NHL, he aims to take on an even more significant role with the Blackhawks and lead the team back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2020. His growing list of endorsements underscores his rising star power and marketability in the world of hockey.
