Carolina Hurricanes GM quits and is immediately replaced

After it was revealed that Don Waddell had been given interviews for other roles, he announced his resignation as general manager of the Carolina Hurricanes.

That longtime general manager has been announced by the Carolina Hurricanes. Don Waddell has announced his immediate successor and resigned with immediate effect. Even so, with a temporary tag.

Don Waddell has resigned from his position as President and General Manager of the #Canes. Eric Tulsky has been named interim General Manager.

In the interim, while they search for a new general manager, Eric Tulsky, the assistant general manager of the Hurricanes, has been named Don Waddell's replacement. Additionally, it's possible that Tulsky will eventually lose his temporary tag from the Hurricanes.
