In a recent mailbag article, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal was asked about the Golden Knights' goaltending situation and the possibility of trading for an upgrade during the season. Webster mentioned that a deal can't be ruled out and suggested John Gibson as a potential option, although trading within the division could be complicated.

The Vegas Golden Knights head into the 2024-25 campaign with Adin Hill and Ilya Samsonov as their goaltending tandem.
