Anaheim Ducks Exploring Trade Options for Frank Vatrano Amid Rebuild

With NHL teams working hard to finalize their rosters for the 2024-2025 season, the Anaheim Ducks, who are in a rebuilding phase, are actively exploring trade options for several key players. While John Gibson and Trevor Zegras have been subjects of trade rumors, the Ducks are also fielding calls for Frank Vatrano.
Vatrano, 30, was a standout performer for the Ducks last season, finishing with 60 points, including 37 goals and 23 assists, along with 85 penalty minutes. Despite the team's overall struggles, Vatrano's performance was a bright spot, making him a valuable asset for trade.
"The Ducks who have been rumored to have John Gibson available for the right price as well as Trevor Zegras have been fielding calls on Frank Vatrano as well."
Given Vatrano's strong season, Anaheim's General Manager Pat Verbeek is expected to demand a substantial return for the forward. Interested teams, such as the Buffalo Sabres, New York Islanders, Carolina Hurricanes, New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers, and Detroit Red Wings, should approach Verbeek with compelling offers that could include picks, prospects, or other valuable assets.
As Anaheim continues its rebuild, trading Vatrano could provide the Ducks with the necessary pieces to enhance their future. Verbeek will likely be strategic in his negotiations, ensuring that any deal involving Vatrano significantly benefits the team's long-term goals.
With the new season approaching, the Ducks' trade discussions involving Vatrano and other key players will be closely watched, as they aim to position themselves for future success.
