Vegas Golden Knights reportedly shopping top starting goaltender
The Vegas Golden Knights have developed a reputation of being winners. That however has come at a cost. The Knights have developed a win at all costs mentality, which has left multiple players discarded the moment they lose value to the franchise. Now it appears Logan Thompson might be the next player on the outs in Vegas.
Last season, the Vegas Golden Knights ended up using 5 goaltenders. With Adin Hill ultimately securing the net and winning the Knights the Stanley Cup. This summer the Knights signed Hill to a large extension, which has brought the future of Thompson into question.
Thompson played in 37 games last year before suffering a season ending injury in February. Thompson posted a 21-13-3 record over the season. According to reports, Thompson is garnering interest from the Buffalo Sabres and New Jersey Devils.
This is just another example of the take no prisoners attitude that has made Vegas so successful.
