Nottingham Football Club Pays Tribute To Adam Johnson
A touching tribute was paid to Adam Johnson, the Nottingham Panthers forward who tragically lost his life in an on-ice accident just over a week ago.
In a heartwarming moment of remembrance, the Premier League's Nottingham Football Club and their fans came together on Sunday to honor the memory of the young athlete, taken too soon.
During the 47th minute of the match between Nottingham F.C. and the Aston Villa Football Club, players from both teams paused to pay their respects to Johnson.
A large flag featuring Johnson's jersey number and team colors was raised in the crowd, and the English fans in attendance, along with the players, displayed remarkable sportsmanship by applauding in unison.
