The Philadelphia Flyers might have a situation on their hands that's worth keeping an eye on.
In a recent game on Sunday, the Flyers' newly added defenseman, Jamie Drysdale, found himself on the rough end of a hit delivered by Jansen Harkins, a fourth-line player for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Drysdale seemed to be in discomfort, especially with his arm, which he kept immobile against his body as he headed off the ice. The collision was significant, and at this point, the extent of Drysdale's injury remains unclear.
Here's a closer look in slow motion:
The Flyers had a moment of worry when Tyson Foerster, one of their forwards, also exited the game due to an injury. Fortunately for the team, Foerster was able to make a comeback later in the game.
