LA Kings Player Rushed Off The Ice After Taking A Puck To The Face
Phillip Danault of the LA Kings had a tough night after taking a puck to the face from Mika Zibanejad of the New York Rangers. The play seemed like a routine dump-in, but it ended with Danault in a bit of trouble.
Putting his hands to his face, Danault heads to the bench, where a trainer hands him a towel as blood starts to spill onto the ice.
We're unsure if Danault will make a return tonight. If he does, it's likely he'll come back with some sort of face protection.
As the teams come back for the second period, Danault is noticeably absent, leaving fans wondering about his status.
