NHL Fighting Legend Donald Brashear Drops The Gloves Again At 52-Years Old
At 52 years old and 14 years since his last NHL season, Donald Brashear is still bringing his trademark style of hockey to the minor professional league, the LNAH, in eastern Canada.
In tonight's game, the seasoned forward showed he hasn't lost his edge, especially when it comes to dropping the gloves.
Now suiting up for the Jonquiere Marquis, Brashear, sporting the green jersey in the video, didn't hesitate to engage in a fight. While he landed some solid punches, he also took a few hits himself and ended up being knocked to the ice by his opponent.
It's remarkable to witness a legendary NHL enforcer like Brashear still playing, let alone fighting, at his age. Over his NHL career, spanning 1025 games with the Montreal Canadiens, Vancouver Canucks, Washington Capitals, Philadelphia Flyers, and New York Rangersa, Brashear amassed 205 points and an impressive 2634 penalty minutes.
