Former First-Rounder Has Been Claimed Off Waivers By The Vegas Golden Knights
For the second consecutive day, another defenseman finds a new home via the waiver wire.
As reported by TSN's Chris Johnston, the Vegas Golden Knights have secured 22-year-old Tobias Bjornfot after claiming him off waivers from the Los Angeles Kings.
Johnston shared the news, stating,
"Vegas claims Tobias Björnfot off waivers from Los Angeles."
Bjornfot, a former first-round pick for the Kings, has seen action in just one NHL game this season, registering no points. Additionally, he's participated in nine AHL games with the Ontario Reign, where he hasn't tallied any points and has accrued two penalty minutes.
The question now arises: Will Tobias Bjornfot surpass 15 games played for the Vegas Golden Knights? It remains to be seen how the young defenseman will contribute to his new team's lineup as the season progresses.
