Brock Boeser talks about what caused his blood clotting issue
The Vancouver Canucks' top forward was forced to miss the team's most crucial game of the year, and Brock Boeser now reveals why.
It was unexpected to learn that Brock Boeser, a forward for the Vancouver Canucks, would not be able to participate in game 7. Then rumors started to spread that his absence was related to a non-life-threatening blood clot problem. Many were taken aback by this revelation because there was no apparent occurrence that may have caused this problem.
Boeser discussed the matter and gave an explanation of what transpired prior to his absence during today's news conference marking the end of the season. Before disclosing the exact moment of the injury, Boeser was visibly frustrated.
Boeser says a shot block in Game 1 vs EDM led to a bruise that caused some complications and led to clotting issue
With the announcement of Boeser's injury, several storylines were circulated; this information should help put an end to them. Boeser hopes to return to full health and fitness for the upcoming season.
In addition to his blood clotting problem, Boeser injured his finger during practice before Game 3.
