Toronto Maple Leafs Have Officially Sent Star Goalie Down To The Marlies
In a recent development, the Toronto Maple Leafs have made a roster move in anticipation of Joseph Woll's imminent return to action.
Joseph Woll, who had been sidelined due to injury, is now set to rejoin the team after a stint in the minors for conditioning purposes. The move comes as the Maple Leafs look to solidify their goaltending situation following a series of challenges throughout the season.
"The @MapleLeafs announced today that G Joseph Woll has been assigned to the @TorontoMarlies on a conditioning loan," the team confirmed.
With Woll's return on the horizon, the Maple Leafs will soon have all three goaltenders available for selection. This poses a decision for the coaching staff as they weigh their options moving forward, especially considering Martin Jones performance in Woll's absence.
As Woll gears up for his return to action in the AHL, all eyes will be on his progress and the impact it may have on the Maple Leafs' goaltending dynamics.
