Toronto Maple Leafs fans will be in shambles thanks to this shocking new poll

For years, one of the best rivalries in the history of the entire NHL is that between the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Overall, these are two teams who have done incredible things. The Maple Leafs have 13 Stanley Cup and the Canadiens have 24. While they both haven't won in quite some time, fans still love these two teams to death and it is easy to see what would be the case.

Recently, 338 Canada decided to do a poll on which team is actually the most popular in Canada. Interestingly enough, it is not the Leafs. Instead, it was the Canadiens who won the war, and we're sure Leafs fans are fuming about it. There is always next year.

These figures may come as a huge surprise to a lot of fans. It should come as no surprise though that two of the most iconic teams ever would be 1-2 on the totem poll. However, it is just a tiny bit shocking to see a team like the Senators in last place here. Or perhaps it isn't? Either way, we're sure this is going to lead to a lot of debates.
