Matthew Rempe Denies Ryan Reaves When Challenged To Drop The Gloves
Tonight's game has everyone buzzing, especially with the spotlight on a potential showdown between the Rangers' Matt Rempe and the Maple Leafs' Ryan Reaves. Their first encounter on the ice was a bit of an awkward affair that left fans talking.
The buzz around this matchup has been building, particularly after Reaves hinted at giving the fans exactly what they've been craving. When the moment came, and Reaves stepped up to challenge Rempe, the response was unexpectedly timid.
There was a moment on the ice where Reaves seemed to throw down the gauntlet, and Rempe's reaction? Well, it wasn't what the crowd was hoping for. Toronto fans didn't hide their disappointment, showering Rempe with boos for not accepting Reaves' invitation to fight.
"Matt Rempe and Ryan Reaves were on the ice together in close quarters. Looked like Reaves said something to Rempe. Crowd boos when Rempe changes. #Leafs #NYR"
Now, the question on everyone's mind is whether these two will finally drop the gloves and go at it later in the game. As of now, it seems Rempe might be steering clear of Reaves' challenges.
