Auston Matthews is now the captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs and after coming close to 70 goals last season, NHL fans are excited to see him back on the ice.

Below, you can see that Matthews seems to be a lot lighter than normal. He is typically listed at 215 pounds, but some believe he has dropped perhaps 15-20 pounds. There is no confirmation that this is the case, but some worry his illness as made him drop weight.
Only time will tell whether or not he truly has dropped the weight. Although below, you can see a plethora of tweets in which fans expressed all of their concerns.
Hockey fans are known for being a worried bunch at times, so perhaps his measurements come training camp will quell some fears. What we do know is that the first goal he scores this season will likely end any debates about what kind of player he will be this upcoming season.
