Johnny & Matthew Gaudreau receive touching tribute on WWE Monday Night Raw
Johnny & Matthew Gaudreau were laid to rest on Monday and numerous players from around the NHL were at the event.
Last night, the WWE was in Calgary, which is where Johnny Gaudreau played hockey for almost 10 years. As a result, the company decided to make a classy move and pay homage to the two brothers.
For instance, in the video down below, you can see the commentators acknowledging the Gaudreaus and just how much they meant to the city.
Furthermore, Montreal's Sami Zayn was in the ring with Bret Hart. That is where Zayn wore a Calgary Flames jersey with Gaudreau's name on it. He got a huge standing ovation, and everyone in the crowd absolutely adored the move.
This was all just yet another example of how beloved the Gaudreaus were and how they transcended just the hockey world. As the NHL season starts back up again, we will surely see even more great tributes.
