Auston Matthews Shows His True Colours With Recent Gesture For Young Fans
Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs is showing no signs of slowing down, leading the NHL goal-scoring race with an impressive 40 goals in just 46 games. He's on track to hit the 70-goal mark for the first time in his career.
Representing the Maple Leafs at this year's All-Star game in Toronto, Matthews went beyond the rink to make a difference in the community. Before the All-Star festivities kicked off, he made a heartwarming surprise visit to a group of kids through the Make-A-Wish foundation.
Adding a special touch, he had a birthday greeting for one lucky youngster.
As the excitement builds, the All-Star skills competition is set to kick off at Scotiabank Arena this evening at 7:00 PM EST. Keep an eye out for Matthews and his scoring prowess on display.
