The 2025 NHL trade deadline is right around the corner, and after making some moves already in 2024/25, the Pittsburgh Penguins are expected to enter the market soon, with several veterans expected to be moved by the team.
According to Josh Yohe of The Athletic, the expectation around the league is that there are several moves coming in Pittsburgh, and after the returns we've seen thus far, it's a sellers market for Kyle Dubas and the front office.

Things have been fairly quiet on the trade front for the Penguins since the deal to send Drew O'Connor and Marcus Pettersson to the Vancouver Canucks, with fans all over social media urging the General Manager to start making some moves.
Veterans such as Anthony Beauvillier, Matt Grzelcyk and Noel Accari are all tabbed as names to watch, but with the high returns we've seen thus far, teams could even push to land players such as Rickard Rakell or Bryan Rust.
Ultimately, it's unlikely that we see all of those players moved, but with contending teams needing help, there's plenty of buyers out there for Dubas, with the overwhelming expectation being that moves will soon come.
