As the March 8 trade deadline approaches, Marc-Andre Fleury of the Minnesota Wild finds himself at a crossroads, with potential trade offers looming on the horizon.

General manager Bill Guerin has made it clear that Fleury will have the final say in determining his future with the team:

"I think MA has earned the right to call the shots. It's complicated. The best thing now is to just play hockey and not complicate things. I don't know what's going to happen. I'll talk to him; it won't take long to figure it out."

Despite interest from other teams, Fleury holds the power to veto any potential trades thanks to his no-trade clause, and Guerin fully respects his wishes.

In a recent interview, Fleury expressed his desire to remain in Minnesota, citing the strong camaraderie within the team:

"We have such a good group of guys and great chemistry. I've been here for over two seasons. I'm not thinking about leaving or going somewhere else. I want to continue to fight with my team to try to make the postseason."

With the Wild currently sitting sixth in the Central division, just four points behind the St. Louis Blues for the last Wild card playoff spot in the Western conference, Fleury's experience and leadership could prove invaluable as they push for a postseason berth.

Having been traded before, Fleury may lean towards staying with the Wild as they embark on their playoff push.
