Connor McDavid is someone who has consistently been a force in the hockey world and he almost led his Edmonton Oilers to a Stanley Cup this past year.

However, his team lost in heartbreaking fashion as they came back from an 0-3 deficit, only to lose in Game 7. The loss was documented for the new NHL docuseries "Faceoff: Inside The NHL," and fans have been gaining some newfound respect for McDavid. He is opening up like he never has before, and we have been getting some interesting tidbits from the superstar.
For instance, McDavid admitted in the show that after losing in the Stanley Cup Finals, he was so heartbroken that he decided to cancel his bachelor party. It was going to be a guys trip to Europe and seemed like a whole lot of fun. However, McDavid opted against it as the heartbreak from losing was just too strong.
"It was nice to decompress, but at the same time it was a little bit strange," McDavid said. "You're supposed to be celebrating and having a good time, but at the same time it was not that way."

This season, McDavid and the Oilers will be motivated to go out and win the Stanley Cup. However, it is not going to be easy, at all. It is going to take tremendous discipline and perhaps even some luck. That said, the team has the pieces and when you're led by McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, you always have a chance.
