Tense Moment At Blackhawks Practice As Connor Bedard Injures Teammate
There was a tense moment at Chicago Blackhawks practice earlier today when a shot from Connor Bedard struck a teammate in the face.
>Bedard Accidentally Hits Crevier
During practice, Connor Bedard's shot deflected and struck teammate Louis Crevier in the face.
Bedard shot just deflected up and hit Crevier in the mouth. Crevier went straight to the locker room.
Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson later reassured everyone that Crevier would be okay.
Richardson said Crevier went to the dentist after this, but he'll be fine other than some soreness eating tonight.
Crevier, a rookie defenseman for the Blackhawks, has tallied three points in 20 games this season. Standing at 6'8", the Quebec native was drafted by the Blackhawks in the 7th round in 2020.
