Connor Bedard Joins Multiple NHL Legends In Remarkable Category
In NHL history, only four players have won Rookie of the Month three or more times: Teemu Selanne, Alex Ovechkin, Connor McDavid, and now, Connor Bedard.
The NHL recently announced that Connor Bedard of the Chicago Blackhawks has been named the NHL's "Rookie of the Month" for March. Bedard led all rookies with 4 goals and 13 assists, totaling 17 points in just 14 games.
"Chicago Blackhawks center Connor Bedard, who led all rookies with 4-13�17 in 14 games (the most assists or points by a rookie in a calendar month since Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell in January 2022: 3-14�17 in 15 GP), has been named the NHL's «Rookie of the Month» for March." Bedard's performance in March was outstanding, making it the most assists or points by a rookie in a calendar month since Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell achieved a similar feat in January 2022.
