Anton Stralman is someone who had a pretty lengthy career in the NHL and he even played for teams like the Boston Bruins and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Now, it is being revealed that Stralman is officially retiring from hockey at the age of 38. Why? Well, he wants to go pursue a career coaching women's soccer. In a new report, it was revealed that he would be coaching Skultorps which is a Swedish women's soccer club. A pretty cool gig that is a lot different than playing professional hockey.

"Stralman played 938 games in the NHL from 2007-2023 with the Toronto Maple Leafs 🇨🇦, Columbus Blue Jackets 🇺🇸, New York Rangers 🇺🇸, Tampa Bay Lightning 🇺🇸, Florida Panthers 🇺🇸, Arizona Coyotes 🇺🇸, and Boston Bruins 🇺🇸 - scoring 63 goals and 293 points in that span.

He also played 59 games with Sweden's national team 🇸🇪 from 2006-2017, scoring 15 goals, 31 points and winning Gold at the 2017 IIHF World Championship, and Bronze at the 2009 IIHF World Championship

He also played professionally over the course of his career with:
 Skövde IK (Allsvenskan) 🇸🇪 / 2004-05
 Timr IK (Elitserien) 🇸🇪 / 2005-07
 Providence Bruins (AHL) 🇺🇸 / 2022-23
 HV71 (SHL) 🇸🇪 / 2023-24"

We wish Stralman the best of luck in this new endeavor. It is never easy to change career although we're sure he put a lot of time and thought into the decision.
