Three Cape Breton Screaming Eagles stars survive terrifying car crash
The three stars were driving to Cape Breton for the start of their upcoming season. According to Puck Empire, Fullerton and Romeo have been released from the hospital. Meanwhile, Schmitt will be released in the coming days. The team was able to avoid a horrific tragedy, and it seems like all three players will escape without serious injuries.
Screaming Eagles general manager Sylvain Couturier came out and made a statement on the incident. He explained that the driver and passengers in another vehicle involved in the accident, are all okay. Furthermore, Couturier thanked the first responders and St. Martha's Regional Hospital for taking care of his guys.
"This was a scary situation of course, but as an organization, we are relieved no one got seriously hurt. Right now, we are awaiting further updates from doctors, and we will take the situation one day at a time. We are grateful that the occupants from the other vehicles involved were not seriously injured as well, and we thank the medical professionals at St. Martha's Regional Hospital and the local first responders for their care."
Our thoughts are with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles during this scary time. We are happy that the three players are going to be okay. You never want to hear about things like this, especially after the tragic events surrounding the deaths of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau.
