Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau tragically passed away last week and it has united the entire NHL in the common goal of paying tribute to two amazing men.

At arenas throughout the National Hockey League, numerous shrines have gone up that pay homage to the young men. Perhaps the most impressive one has taken place at the Saddledome in Calgary. Numerous flowers have been laid out while numerous messages have been written out in chalk.
Unfortunately, there is one city that hasn't been as welcoming to these messages. According to the tweets below, the shrines outside of the Bell Center in Montreal keep getting removed. This is truly bizarre, especially when you consider how these tributes are completely out of the way. As you can imagine, fans are pretty upset by this news.
So far, the Montreal Canadiens, nor the city of Montreal has come out to explain what is going on. Instead, needless speculation is taking place, and it is ultimately making the city look bad. Hopefully, the franchise comes out and fixes this, before more negativity comes their way.
Our heart goes out to the Gaudreau family during this very difficult time. We hope they are able to get all of the help they need and deserve as they navigate this horrific tragedy.
Do you believe the Montreal Canadiens will respond to the recent rumblings about the Gaudreau shrine? Let us know in the poll down below and stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world.
